Seven Network is the leading free to air capital city television network in Australia and is part of Seven West Media.
Seven Network is expanding its internal digital video and production team. The team creates digital bespoke content, extending our TV programming to digital first audiences and creating original formats for social networks and audiences.
We are looking for an exceptional Digital Content Creator to join the Home and Away team.
We are looking for people who understand digital audiences, and can then create, produce, shoot and edit multi-platform content. We want people who have stories to tell and ways of telling them across digital distribution platforms.
This is a 12-month contract position, based in Sydney, where you will work closely with our Home and Away production team and Seven Network creative and communications teams, to strategically shape the delivery of digital projects, from the creative ideation to the production and execution.
You will need to pro-actively come up with video formats as well as create re-active ideas every day, then shoot, arrange production and edit engaging video content that extends our content opportunities, series and brands.
The ideal candidate will “think video”, with an understanding of what video works best online, and how to create it. They cannot be afraid of getting amongst our creative teams to share their perspective and then fully realise their ideas. Maybe you studied video journalism, or you have picked up a camera and are creating some solid video content already. You must have great organisational skills, time management, are proficient at editing on Avid, and – most importantly – confidence that your story is worth telling. We want someone who can easily express their attitude and take on the world with video but who has a willingness to learn from our production teams. Above all, someone that’s passionate about Australian TV, and wants to see it touch audiences across many screens.
