We are currently looking for a Director/Editor who can work across multiple disciplines to deliver programs, ensuring they meet clinical and educational content criteria and our mantra of ‘Engage, Inform, Inspire’.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in video production and be able to demonstrate the ability to direct mid-length scripts (15-20 minutes) in a structured and well-thought-out way, be a skilled television/video director with multi-genre capacity and will be equally adept working with actors and non-actors. Applicants with live multicam TV directing/switching experience are highly desired.
They will also be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver educational material in a meaningful way and be able to show an imaginative and collaborative approach from concept to completion. Willingness to take constructive guidance and feedback are also a must.
We are looking for someone who possesses senior video editing skills, ideally with strong motion graphics ability, and who is able to collaborate with other members of the production and post-production team to deliver programs on schedule to a high standard. We work with the Adobe Creative Suite, so it’s important that applicants have senior-level experience in Premiere Pro and AfterEffects, and ideally considerable skills in Illustrator and Photoshop.
Applicants will also need to demonstrate the capacity to mentor more junior members of the production and post-production team, working work closely with them to develop their skills.
Any successful applicant will be required to undergo an Australian Police check.
