Fremantle Australia is currently searching for a Post Production Coordinator to join our Sydney based Post Production team on an initial 12-month contract.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, thorough and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities. We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills and unwavering attention to detail. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is proactive and positive, an effective communicator who can exercise good judgment and initiative.

Key Responsibilities

Track and manage all post schedules, keeping the team apprised of status.
Facilitate onboarding of new projects and freelance staff onto post applications and tools.
Ensure Post Production staff of each show receives, and understands, the departmental Post bible and associated procedures and requirements.
Assist Post Production Supervisors in ensuring all client deliverables are kept up to date.
Maintain expense reports, contact lists and staff database, as necessary.
Update and manage internal asset database/trackers.
Manage distribution, publicity and marketing requests and assets.
Lodge and follow up on any 3rd party hardware support and maintenance tasks.
Manage and coordinate footage requests from the Fremantle footage and archive library.


3+ Years of Post-Production Coordination experience working in a high-volume production environment.
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment supervising several projects in various stages of production.
Familiar with the current trends and Post Production workflows.
Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly.
Ability to respond after hours when needed for important, timely or urgent matters.
Team-player who can operate with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multi-task.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of production cameras, UHD/HD workflows, Avid Media Composer, Data storage and MAM software.
