FremantleMedia Australia is the producer of some of the biggest entertainment formats in the country, including The X Factor and Dancing with the Stars.

The position of Social Producer – Entertainment Programming is to produce, manage and monitor social media and digital content for FremantleMedia Australia’s slate of entertainment programming.

Job Description:
•A versatile all-rounder who will become “the voice” of our shows across social media platforms.
•Ensure the social media strategy drives fans to watch our shows.
•Develop, produce and publish content for official social and digital platforms, including:
- Writing copy for social posts and website blogs
- Capturing and editing photography
- Capturing and editing social video
- Producing graphics
•Create and manage a social media schedule in conjunction with the TV network digital and marketing teams.
•Develop and implement ideas for initiatives to attract and reward audiences.
•Develop and manage the integration of social media back into the TV (e.g. onscreen tweets.)
•Provide stakeholders with weekly reports on the performance of platforms and content.

Selection Criteria:
•4+ years relevant industry experience.
•Active user of social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
•Journalism and/or writing experience.
•Social photography and video experience.
•Photoshop experience.
•A love and extensive knowledge of television/pop culture.
•TV production experience preferred but not mandatory.
•Ability to start in August 2015.
